Avonlea is a large stylish late-Victorian guesthouse offering bed and breakfast accommodation only five minutes walk from the historic town centre and theatres of Stratford-upon-Avon.

A wide selection is offered for breakfast - from the traditional full English breakfast to cereals, yoghurts, fruit and breads. Any special dietary requirements can be accomodated via prior agreement.
To ensure total comfort for our guests the building is fully double glazed and centrally heated, with each room having individual thermostatic controls. Each room is equipped with the highest quality divan beds, television, hair drier, fan and hospitality tray.
As of autumn 2007 Avonlea has further expanded its off-street parking facilites, and also offers free wi-fi availablity.

For the comfort of our guests and staff Avonlea is a no-smoking establishment. Guest are welcome to smoke outside of the building. Please use the ashtrays provided.

Directions

From the M40:

Stratford is 5 miles from the M40 junction 15. On leaving the M40 follow the signs for Stratford-upon-Avon (A46). On arriving in Stratford, cross the Clopton Bridge (across the River Avon) follow signs for Shipston on Stour (A3400). We are on the right hand side of the road as you enter the Shipston Road.

From Oxford:

Stratford is 40 miles from Oxford up the A3400. On arriving in Stratford the A3400 becomes Shipston Road, we are the left at the top of the road.

From Evesham (M5):

Stratford is 10 miles from Evesham on the A46. On arriving in Stratford follow signs for Shipston on Stour. You will come to a roundabout on the A3400. Turn left onto Shipston Road, we are the left at the top of the road.
