Avonlea Guesthouse won't go over the top with room descriptions: Suffice to say that we have 8 rooms that offer great value for money.

Although we don't condone swinging cats, our bedrooms provide plenty of room for you and your belongings. Beds are wonderfully comfortable with pocket sprung mattresses and sheets are crisply laundered. En-suite bathrooms are sparklingly clean and you'll have lashings of hot water flowing through your shower.

When it comes to breakfast, Rob and Clare are both foodies (a life spent in Michelin restaurants helps) so ingredients are carefully selected and cooked to showcase the very best local produce.

Avonlea Guesthouse has 8 rooms in total all bar one of our single rooms is en-suite. This room has a private bathroom across the landing for your sole use.

Twin or Super King

Avonlea Guesthouse has two flexible rooms that can either be twin bedded or a luxurious super king bed. One of these is situated on the ground floor so is perfect for people who have difficulty with stairs.

Standard Double

Two standard double rooms are located on the 1st floor one to the front and one to the rear of the property.

Single

Two single rooms, one on the 1st and one on the 2nd floor. Both these rooms have a standard double bed, the rooms are just a little smaller than a standard double so we generally only sell them for single occupancy, we do however from time to time offer these rooms for double occupancy but you will always be told and the rate will reflect this accordingly.

Family

Avonlea Guesthouse has two family rooms situated on the 2nd floor one to the front and one to the rear of the property. These rooms have one standard double and one single bed. We can offer an extra put up bed in one of the rooms if required, making these perfect rooms for a family getaway.
